Members of the WVFD come from all walks of life. But they have one thing in common - they are dedicated to the safety and security of our community.
Each year the WVFD responds to over 500 calls from residents. The WVFD members go through extensive training to be able to respond to all types of emergencies from structure fires, motor vehicle accidents, brush fires, water rescues, downed power lines and much more.

The Weston Volunteer Fire Department has been the sole provider of fire and rescue services for the Town of Weston for over 85 years. It is not a town agency or department, but a private non-profit membership corporation. Every member is an unpaid volunteer- from the Chief, to the drivers of the apparatus and all the firefighters are your neighbors.
